Fonderia Bronzi Artistici Italia di F.Perego U.Calegari & C.
The FBAI factory (Fonderia Bronzi Artistici Italia) embarked on its journey in 1966, initially focusing on bronze sculptural objects, which is evident from its name. However, between 1968 and 1970, the factory expanded its offerings to include glass, crystal, and, most notably, Tiche porcelain. The utilization of Tiche Art Porcelain in a sculptural manner akin to bronze soon became the hallmark of the factory, adding significant value to its products. Collaborations with renowned designers and artists, such as Professor Mario Vallini, further enhanced the factory's reputation.
The factory's lamps are adorned with stunning bas-reliefs and high reliefs reminiscent of classical artworks, evoking images of royal palaces and museum halls. For instance, the Porcellana Bisquit chandelier captivates viewers with its intricate plot details and meticulous craftsmanship. The delicate roses adorning the chandelier's crown exude a soft warmth when illuminated, inviting admiration for their beauty. Similarly, sconce A3184/1, featuring a floral bas-relief symbolizing abundance, offers a comforting narrative that one can enjoy before bedtime.
FBAI prides itself on its exceptional craftsmanship in sculptural modeling on porcelain, a unique strength that sets it apart. From its inception, F.B.A.I. has strived to uphold the ancient traditions of kiln craft, operating with the same gestures and methods that defined centuries past to achieve excellence.
As the company has evolved over time, it has participated in international trade fairs and collaborated with esteemed designers and artists like Professor Mario Vallini. The synergy between bronze and porcelain, with the latter produced, modeled, and finished at Tiche Porcellane d'Arte, has further elevated F.B.A.I.'s artistic and manufacturing value.
While rooted in tradition, F.B.A.I. remains forward-thinking, constantly seeking new solutions, ideas, and inspirations to meet the evolving needs of its clientele. Its commitment to honoring tradition while embracing innovation ensures that the company remains vibrant and relevant in today's ever-changing landscape.
